 What is integrative medicine (IM)?

Integrative medicine is a combination of complementary medicine (CAM) and alternative medicine, which is not part of conventional medicine. Within IM, we focus on the health of the whole person with all aspects of their lifestyle. Integrative medicine has already accumulated a fair amount of evidence of efficacy and safety. For this reason, this area of medicine is in high demand among patients. Integrative medicine uses an evidence-based approach to treat patients. The treating physician’s relationship and trust with the patient plays a large role. It is the treating physician who puts you on the path to recovery with good coordination of providers and specialists for you.

I was recommended here by a family member for my two boys. We see Therese and she is amazing!! So nice and so engaging with my boys. She really takes the time to understand what's going on. I never feel rushed with her. Even when I have questions, Therese and her office staff are so responsive. Even on weekends they are responding to emails! I am so at ease with their medical help and I can feel that they only want the best for my boys' health!!

Covid-19 Information

COVID-19 infection can be a significant concern when you need to visit a medical facility. While there is no way to guarantee you will never contract the virus, here’s some information to put your mind at ease:

  • Our patients wear face masks for appointments when recommended by the CDC.
  • Tele-health appointments are provided to anyone experiencing COVID-like symptoms.
  • Staff members wear face masks and wash their hands frequently.
  • Exam rooms are sanitized after each patient appointment.
  • Our reception area, restrooms and frequently touched surfaces are sanitized daily.
  • Our entire office is thoroughly cleaned regularly by a professional company.
  • With much less traffic, exposure to illness is reduced in our clinic:
    • We see an average of 7 patients per day compared to 30-50 patients per provider, per day in a traditional practice setting.
    • A maximum of two medical personnel are present daily.
    • A maximum of two office staff are present daily.
  • Our practice has a focus on education and prevention, so the majority of our members tend to eat well, exercise, and take high-quality supplements. Therefore, they are not ill as frequently as most Americans.
